Resident Teacher Needed

Gendun Drubpa Centre, Williams Lake, Canada

The Centre is small with many active supporters, including an enthusiastic group of dedicated senior students who have committed to the Basic Program. Each introductory course offered brings new students who are interested in learning and practicing Dharma. They integrate and make up the larger group of students supporting the Centre. We are looking for a skilled FPMT registered teacher, who is a creative, innovative, well-organized team player, capable of working cooperatively with others as part of a team helping Gendun Drubpa to grow.

Ideally we would like an In-Depth Buddhism registered teacher in order to enable our Basic Program students to continue their study, but welcome applications from Foundational Buddhism registered teachers as the bulk of students want this level of teaching. This is a full-time position, resident at the Centre.  More information and how to apply.

Work Study participants contribute to every department including the kitchen, housekeeping, the office and the land department. Download our application form.

Support Teacher and SPC Needed

Thubten Norbu Ling, New Mexico

We are based in Santa Fe, which is a lovely place for Buddhists.  Here you could take part in a growing community.

We need an FPMT registered teacher to serve as our support teacher and spiritual program coordinator to support our two resident teachers, Geshe Thubten Sherab and Don Handrick, who can teach in Santa Fe only half the year.  We are also in need of someone who has experience in program management and implementation.
